Celebrating India’s Classical Heritage at Sangeet Sandhya in Brussels

The Embassy of India, Brussels, organised Sangeet Sandhya — an enchanting evening dedicated to soulful Hindustani Classical Music — which witnessed a full-house audience at the Chancery Auditorium. The event commenced with opening remarks by Ambassador Saurabh Kumar, who highlighted the timeless richness and global appeal of Indian classical traditions. The concert featured mesmerizing performances by renowned artists — Mr. Imran Khan on Tabla, Mr. Satyakam M on Violin, and Ms. Sukanya Sengupta on Vocals — each weaving together rhythm, melody, and emotion with great finesse. Their captivating renditions reflected the depth and elegance of India’s musical heritage, resonating deeply with the audience. The evening not only celebrated the beauty of Indian classical music but also served as a cultural bridge, fostering appreciation and friendship between India and Belgium.
