Celebrating 150 Years of Vande Mataram at Landakot School Reykjavik

A special event was organised at Landakot School, Reykjavik, to mark 150 years of Vande Mataram — India’s revered National Song and a timeless ode to the spirit of patriotism, unity, and devotion to the motherland.

International students from diverse nationalities, including India, came together in a mass singing of Vande Mataram, creating a moving and melodious celebration of India’s cultural and national heritage.

Ambassador R. Ravindra addressed the gathering, sharing insights into the history, significance, and emotional resonance of Vande Mataram — a song that inspired generations during India’s freedom struggle and continues to unite hearts across the world. The Ambassador also interacted warmly with students, commending their enthusiasm and participation in honouring this momentous occasion.
