Ambassador R. Ravindra met with Ms. Silija Bara Omarsdottir, Rector of the University of Iceland, last week. He congratulated her on assuming office and shared updates on the ongoing collaboration between the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the University.

The discussions also covered potential partnerships between the University of Iceland and educational institutions in India, as well as the welfare of Indian students studying at the University.

Also present at the meeting were Ms. Friðrika Þóra Harðardóttir, Director (International Division), and Mr. Eyjólfur Már Sigurðsson, Head of the Language Center.
