Ambassador puneet.kundal launched the second edition of the Hindi–Portuguese Dictionary authored by Professor Shiv Singh, marking an important milestone in promoting linguistic and cultural exchange between India and Portugal.
The publication is expected to serve as a valuable resource for Hindi speakers, including new immigrants, by facilitating the learning of the Portuguese language and supporting their integration into Portuguese society. At the same time, the dictionary will benefit Portuguese speakers interested in learning Hindi, thereby strengthening people-to-people connections and fostering greater mutual understanding between the two countries.
The initiative reflects the continued efforts to promote Hindi and Indian languages abroad, while also reinforcing the shared commitment of India and Portugal to cultural cooperation and educational exchange.
