On the auspicious occasion of the 30th anniversary of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London (Neasden Temple), Their Majesties The King and Queen graced the celebrations with a historic first-ever royal visit. The visit symbolized a deep appreciation for the temple’s enduring contributions to interfaith harmony, community service, and cultural unity in the United Kingdom.
During the visit, Their Majesties viewed the model of the upcoming BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Paris — poised to become the first temple of its kind in mainland Europe, located in Bussy-Saint-Georges. They also interacted with High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami, French architects and contractors, and the Mayor of Bussy-Saint-Georges, marking a moment of cross-cultural collaboration and shared values of peace and harmony.
