A special classical dance workshop was hosted at the Embassy for distinguished women from diverse fields. Renowned Kathak artiste Ms. Ragini Nagar offered an engaging introduction to the classical dance form, highlighting both nritta (pure dance) and abhinaya (expression). Among the participants were Ms. Kinga Gajewska, Chairperson of the India-Poland Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ambassador Nagma M. Mallick, and several prominent parliamentarians and professionals — all of whom immersed themselves in the spirit and grace of Kathak.
As Ms. Nagar prepares to conclude her nearly three-year tenure in Poland, we reflect on her remarkable contributions as both performer and educator. From prestigious stages to inclusive classrooms with students and special children, she brought the elegance of Kathak to wide-ranging audiences and built enduring cultural bridges between India and Poland.
