The Ambassador welcomed a delegation from India led by Swapnil M. Naik, Chief Electoral Officer of U.T. Chandigarh, during their official visit to Sweden from 4–12 April 2026.
The delegation is engaging with various Swedish institutions and experts to exchange insights and best practices in electoral management, governance, and democratic processes. The visit aims to strengthen institutional cooperation and promote knowledge-sharing on transparent and efficient election administration.
The interactions provide an opportunity to learn from Sweden’s experiences in public administration, digital governance, and democratic participation, while also highlighting India’s robust electoral framework and democratic traditions.
