The Embassy of India, Stockholm, in collaboration with Chinmaya Mission Stockholm, organised a special celebration of Ram Navami with members of the Indian community and friends of India in Stockholm.
The celebration honoured the timeless teachings of Lord Ram, whose life continues to inspire values of dharma (righteousness), integrity, compassion, and responsible leadership. The event also coincided with the beginning of the Hindu New Year, symbolising renewal, hope, positivity, and collective well-being.
On this occasion, the Embassy also presented the Swedish version of the Ramayana by Ujjwala Andersson, highlighting the growing cultural connections between India and Sweden and the universal relevance of the epic’s timeless message.
