India–Iceland Clean Energy Dialogue Sparks New Investment Opportunities
The Embassy of India hosted a workshop on India’s Clean Energy Landscape: Opportunities for Investment & Enterprise on 13 February, bringing together key stakeholders from 🇮🇳 and 🇮🇸 to explore collaboration in the energy transition.
Ambassador R. Ravindra highlighted the immense potential for India–Iceland partnership in clean energy innovation and sustainable growth.
The discussions featured distinguished speakers including María Erla Marelsdóttir, Ólafur Stephensen, Bjarni Richter, and Bala Kamallakharan.
Halldór Óskarsson presented the Carbon Iceland model and its applicability in India, while Anisha Tomar shared an overview of India’s rapidly expanding clean energy sector.
The workshop saw strong participation from Icelandic clean energy companies, reinforcing growing momentum for sustainable cooperation between the two nations.
