Republic Day was celebrated by Bharat Verein e.V. at Saalbau Volkshaus Enkheim, Frankfurt, on 1 February 2026.
Shri Sanjay Jaswal, Consul, attended the event on behalf of the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, and conveyed warm Republic Day greetings to the Indian community in Germany. He appreciated Bharat Verein e.V. for its significant contributions over the past six decades in promoting Indian culture, traditions, and strengthening 🇮🇳🇩🇪 friendship.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 200 members of the Indian community. Diaspora members presented a soulful rendition of “Vande Mataram”, commemorating 150 years of the iconic national song. The celebrations were further enriched by mesmerizing cultural and dance performances, with artists in traditional attire showcasing the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India.
