Air India’s Country Manager in Italy, Mr. Rahul Bhongade, met Ambassador Vani Rao, who welcomed the resumption of Air India’s direct Rome–New Delhi flight starting 25 March 2026.
The new service, integrated with the existing Milan–Delhi route, will significantly enhance air connectivity between India and Italy. It is expected to further boost trade, tourism, and people-to-people ties, while facilitating easier travel for the vibrant Indian community in Italy.
