India in Switzerland Joins Diwali Festivities with the Diaspora

A Glorious Diwali Celebration in Bern!

India in Switzerland & Liechtenstein was truly delighted to be a part of the grand Diwali celebrations organised by the Indian Association Berne. The Embassy was represented by Second Secretary Shri Rajendra Choudhari, who joined the Indian community and friends of India in marking this festival of light with great enthusiasm and joy.

The event beautifully showcased India’s rich cultural heritage, featuring:
✨ Lively and colourful cultural performances
🎶 Traditional music and energetic dance sequences
🍛 A delectable spread of authentic Indian cuisine that brought the flavours of home to Switzerland

The celebration served as a meaningful platform to bring together families, friends, and well-wishers, strengthening the spirit of unity and community among the Indian diaspora. It also highlighted the shared commitment to preserving and promoting Indian traditions and culture across borders.

The Embassy conveyed its warm Diwali greetings to the community and expressed appreciation to the organisers for arranging such a vibrant celebration in Bern.
