Amb Ajit Gupte and Mrs. Priti Gupte met Amma, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, a globally revered humanitarian and spiritual icon known for her message of peace, service, and universal compassion, at the M.A. Center in Odenwald on 16 November 2025.
The gathering was graced by Mr. Andreas Koch, Mayor of Brombachtal, and Ms. Martina Merz, member of the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG, along with representatives from various community organisations and supporters of Amma’s charitable initiatives. 🌿
The event drew more than 2,000 devotees and well-wishers from across Germany and neighbouring countries, who participated in soulful Bhajans, meditation, and spiritual interactions. Amma’s blessings and her message of love resonated deeply with all present, symbolising the enduring Indian traditions of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – One Earth, One Family, One Future.
The M.A. Center, functioning as the European hub of Amma’s global humanitarian efforts, continues to play a pivotal role in social welfare activities including environmental protection, education, women empowerment, disaster relief, and healthcare programs across Europe.
Ambassador Gupte appreciated the strong cultural and spiritual connect that Amma’s presence fosters between India and Germany. The event showcased the growing interest in Indian heritage, spirituality, and values among people in Europe, reinforcing cultural bridges and goodwill between the nations.
