On 28 October, Ambassador Arun Goel met with Mr. Domagoj Tončinić, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and Prof. Ivan Andrijanić, Chair of Indology, for an insightful discussion on expanding and strengthening academic collaboration between India and Croatia.
The meeting highlighted the shared vision of both sides to enhance cultural and educational partnerships, focusing on fostering mutual understanding through student exchanges, research initiatives, and linguistic studies.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation in the field of Indology, where a Sanskrit and Hindi Chair already serves as a strong symbol of India’s growing cultural footprint in Croatia.
The discussions paved the way for new avenues of collaboration, reinforcing the spirit of friendship and intellectual exchange between the two countries
