Pahalgam Solidarity March held in Stuttgart, Germany for India

Solidarity March held in Stuttgart, Germany for India and the families of the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack on 22nd April in the state of Kashmir, India.

Paying homage to the Martyrs of Pahalgam🙏🏼, the Indian flag decked the skies of Stuttgart, on May 4th 2025. The Indian diaspora under the banner ‘Bhartiya parivar’ marched in Solidarity in front of Herzog-Christoph denkmal in Schlossplatz in downtown Stuttgart for Victims of Pahalgam Terror Attack and paid tribute to the 28 innocent lives.

The demonstration began at 17:00hrs with over 300 members of the Indian community with tilak on their foreheads as a solemn mark of inner tribute and cultural unity.

The demonstration address in German, English and Hindi was followed by Shanti Path and a two-minute silence in remembrance of the victims. One of the most touching moments of the event was the collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa. It added the spiritual strength and invoked a sense of courage, faith, and unity among all demonstrators.

Participants sang “Hum Honge Kamyab” (We Shall Overcome) and the Indian National Anthem in unison.

The Bharatiya soul energy was in deep expression✌️🇮🇳 thanks the German soil for its warm embrace🇩🇪 The Police protection was ample and the March of about 1 Kilometer in downtown Stuttgart concluded peacefully with a heartfelt Vote of thanks by the organizers.

Although in the backdrop of something sad and disheartening, the Solidarity March certainly brought the community closer. With a firm resolve to nurture and deepen strength and the collaborative spirit, the demomstrators dispersed trying to find some closure to their distressed soul.
Namaste.
