The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, launched the Bharat Ko Janiye (Know India) Quiz as a flagship program to engage overseas nationals and members of the Indian diaspora, especially the youth, and deepen their ties to India. Participants are inspired to learn more about Indian heritage, art, culture, food, history, people, and the country’s incredible growth and contributions to the globe by this quiz.
And that’s not all. A two-week trip to experience amazing India will be awarded to the top 30 scorers; the Ministry will pay for the flights and local accommodations.
The quiz was introduced in 2015 after the Hon. Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, made an announcement at the 13th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD). Since then, it has grown to be an essential link between India and the international community. The fifth BKJ Quiz will take place online between November 11 and December 11, 2024.
