• KIP was first conducted in the year 2004 with the name of Internship Programme for Diaspora Youth (IPDY)

• In 2007, it was renamed as Know India Programme (KIP)

• 65 KIPs have been successfully conducted so far

• 2,296 participants have visited India under KIP
