‘People to people connect plays a vital role in building a strong partnership between any two countries’, was the collective message at the event organised on the occasion of a book release of a Kannada language book written by Ms Vidushi Nandini Narayan, a well-known Kannada author, artist, poet and member of the Foreigners Advisory Council of #Eschborn.
The book released by Consul General and prominent dignitaries including Mr. Rahul Kumar, Member of the Frankfurt City Council and Mr. Wolfram Schuster, Member of the Eschborn City Council is narration of experiences of an Indian immigrant in Germany with a glimpse of unique cultural and traditional traits of German people as they are seen though an immigrant’s eye.
Ms Nandini Narayan has presented interesting aspects of German habits like meticulous planning, independent thinking, emphasis on reading and offering helping hand to the foreigners overcoming all barriers like language in line with German tradition of assimilation and integration of people from various nationalities. Consul General appreciated the contribution of Ms Narayan in elaborating these unique features that bind people together and promoting inter-cultural understanding for a stronger India-Germany friendship.
The event moderated by Ms Kriti Kumar was well-attended with members of the Indian community and German friends.
