Commemorating Amrit Mahotsav as well as 70 years of India-Germany diplomatic relations, Hon’ble Lord Mayor of Essen, Mr Thomas Kufen, and Consul General Amit Telang participated in a tree plantation ceremony at the historic grugapark.
Also present at the occasion was Mr Dhaval Jiyani from Soleos Solar Energy Pvt Ltd from Gujarat , a company which has recently invested in a solar panel manufacturing unit in Essen. It signifies expanding India-Germany cooperation in renewableenergy and deepening of bilateral green energy partnership signed during the 6th intergovernmental commission meeting between Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chancellor H.E. Mr Olaf Scholz. The company also plans to expand its presence in nrw cementing the India meets nrw economic partnership initiative.
