CG attends Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations and meets German MP in Hannover
Consul General John H.Ruolngul attended the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations-cum-Welcome Meeting for new Indian students at Leibniz University in Hannover organised by the Indian Association of Hannover (IASH) on 23 April 2022. Dr. Bala Ramani, Regional Coordinator of India Relations at Leibniz University, Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awardee and current elected member of the Hannover City Council, and Prof. Regina Nogueira welcomed and offered practical advice to around 50 freshers who attended the event. Leibniz University currently has over 700 Indian students.
Consul General also later met and interacted with Mr. Adis Ahmetovic, Member of Parliament/Bundestag and presented him with a copy of the Constitution of India on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti.
