JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Act as a bridge between end users and customer to ensure that IT requirements are gathered properly and fulfilled on time
Understand, articulate, and communicate customer requirements to backend team
Coordinate with backend infrastructure support team for timely resolution of the issue
Create and maintain network/connectivity diagrams for the development center
Ensure that compliance and SLAs are adhered
Troubleshoot network connectivity –
Identify and resolve issues related to LAN connectivity and DNS resolution
Identify and highlight internet link/bandwidth issues
Check firewall logs and identify the issue
Familiarity with network troubleshooting commands (Ping, tracert, telnet etc)
Familiarity with AD, DHCP, DNS, File server and related troubleshooting
Identify and troubleshoot corporate wireless network access issues
Management of passive cabling
a. Patching end user ports b. Maintaining patching records
Ensuring that compliance requirements are adhered to
Monitor overall network/systems health
Patch Management
McAfee Antivirus and Palo Alto Traps.
Overall Asset (Hardware + Software) inventory
OS deployment, software Installation and troubleshooting for Windows and Linux
First level hardware troubleshooting
Asset (Software + Hardware) inventory
Skills Required:
Handson experience with:
Setting up Cisco network switches (access, distribution, core) as per given specifications
Cisco ISE – For AAA
Experience in setting up Cisco routers
Configuring VLANs
Configuring standard and extended ACLs
Troubleshooting network issues in LAN/WAN environment and identifying issues
Setting up and troubleshooting Cisco wireless network connectivity issues
Basic troubleshooting of Cisco VOIP and Telepresence connectivity issues
Cisco Nexus series switches knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of monitoring solutions SolarWinds is a plus
Fluent in German (C1/C2 level)
