Telugu Association of London (TAL) hosted a COVID-19 Consultation and Q&A session for India and the United Kingdom

TAL organises COVID-19 Consultation and Q& amp ;A for India and UK Board of Trustees of Telugu Association of London (also popularly known as TAL) are pleased to organise COVID-19 Consultation and Q& amp ;A virtually to India (aimed at the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) and also patients/audience from the UK.

TAL organised 2 sessions so far (Session1 on 09-May and Session 2 on 16-May). TAL programme consisted of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) on COVID-19 presented by the Doctor’s panel and then followed by Q& amp; A from patients/audience from India and UK.

A total of 300+ participated on the virtual session held on Zoom and telecasted live on YouTube.Participants comprised of pharmacists, doctors, general public from India who raised COVID related questions.

The doctors panel was led by Prof. Venu Kavarthapu (Ortho, Kings College, London) and comprised of Dr. Murthy Buddhavarapu (Consultant Intensivist, University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire), Dr. Suresh Gandhi Gurijala (University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire), Dr. Venkat Gongura (Ortho, CallSOS, Khammam, India), Dr. Vijay Papineni (Consultant Radiologist, Mayo Clinics, Aby Dhabi, UAE) and Dr. Sreelakshmi Uppalapati (Consultant Intensive Care, Nagarjuna Hospitals, Vijayawada, India)

Under the guidance of TAL advisors and Board of Trustees, TAL core team member Mr. Balaji Callur presented the sessions with TAL trustees Mr. Kishore Kasturi, Mr. Navin Gadamsethi and TAL Subcommittee member Mr. Ashok Madishetti.

TAL Chairperson Mrs. Bharathi Kandukuri said given the unprecedented COVID situation in India, TAL will always stand behind the need of the hour to help address in any way it can and TAL is keen to organise further sessions in the coming days, partner with any organisations in India for similar drives to create awareness and share the know-how (if any interested can contact TAL via email contact@taluk.org).
