Job posting for SAP BO Developer in Belgium

Role: SAP BO consultant
location: Brussels, Belgium

We currently have a vacancy for a skilled Technology Expert with experience in SAP BO Development, to analyze and compose different types of proposals, fluent in English and French who will be based in Brussels. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be closely collaborating with the responsible officials and managing the project team.

Your Tasks:

Design and development of reporting applications
Creation and maintenance of a data warehouse
Gathering, analysis and documentation of business requirements following standards and methodologies;
Development of data mining solutions;
Development of ETL processes;
Perform data modelling and database design;
Conduct database performance analysis;
Elaboration of test programs;
Provide assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
Participation in database programming;
Production of all the required technical documentation following established standards and methodologies;
Creation of Prototypes;
Integration of IT systems with other applications/subsystems;
Assisting with providing training to the end-users of the system;
Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
Formulation/elaboration/execution of test cases/programs;
Participation in meetings with the project teams and user groups.

Requirements
Minimum 12 years of combined IT studies and IT professional experience;
Very good knowledge of SAP Business Objects 4.3 such as Reports, universes, Webi, Information Design Tool, Central Management Console, Business Objects SDK and others;
Very good knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL programming;
Good knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL tools;
Good knowledge of data warehouse architecture;
Very good knowledge of relational database management systems and preferably Oracle 12g;
Very good knowledge of English (both written and oral);
Knowledge and experience with ATLASSIAN JIRA software;
Knowledge of QlikSense;
Capability to write clear and structured technical documents;
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings and very good communication skills;
Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.
