To facilitate German Mittelstand and Family Owned Enterprises in setting up of their businesses in India, the Government of India through the Indian Embassy in Berlin is running a strategic support programme –To facilitate German Mittelstand and Family Owned Enterprises in setting up of their businesses in India, the Government of India through the Indian Embassy in Berlin is running a strategic support programme – MAKE IN INDIA MITTELSTAND (MIIM) – to help create successful ventures of German Mittelstand in India. The MIIM initiative, which is a first-of-its kind support programme to be implemented by Government of India, was launched in September 2015. During the first six months of the MIIM initiative, about 43 Mittelstand companies, which are now members of the MIIM programme, are being supported. Some of them have crossed significant milestones in setting up their operations in India. #MakeinIndia – to help create successful ventures of German Mittelstand in India.
