Twelve-year-old Ayaan Ahmed from Farum has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Finals Championship at the DM i Tegning 2026 in the 9–13 years age category. The finals took place on 14 March in Silkeborg.
Competing alongside talented young artists from across Denmark, Ayaan impressed the judges in the “Characters” category with his creativity and imagination. Participants were given just 40 minutes to create a unique cartoon character that combined a rooster and an ice-cream cone, and Ayaan’s artwork stood out for its originality and artistic expression.
The national competition celebrates and recognizes emerging artistic talent from across the country each year. Ayaan’s work was highly appreciated for his creative thinking, imagination, and dedication to art.
The Embassy of India, Copenhagen congratulated Ayaan on this outstanding achievement and wished him continued success in his artistic journey.
Ayaan’s family has its roots in Chennai, and they moved to Denmark in 2020. His accomplishment reflects the vibrant potential of young Indian talent thriving in an encouraging Danish educational environment.
