Strengthening Romania–India Academic Cooperation
The West University of Timișoara continues to advance academic diplomacy by strengthening its collaboration with India in the fields of research, academic mobility, and international education. A recent high-level visit highlighted the growing partnership and the shared commitment of both countries to deepen cooperation in higher education.
During the visit, Manoj Kumar Mohapatra engaged in discussions with the university leadership on expanding bilateral academic partnerships. He was accompanied by Vikas Kumar Sabata. The interaction provided a valuable platform to explore opportunities for student exchanges, joint research initiatives, and institutional collaboration.
The meeting, which included Rector Marilen Gabriel Pirtea and members of the university’s leadership, underscored the importance of education and research in strengthening the broader partnership between India and Romania.
