Diwali – the Festival of Lights was celebrated by the Embassy of India in Iceland along with Indian Community with support of Ministry of Culture, Government of India on 09 Oct. Members of the Indian community, officials from Iceland and Friends of India participated in celebrations that showcased varied hues of Indian dance & music
India’s rich cultural heritage was on display with classical & bollywood dances/songs. Indian community & Friends of India in Iceland added lights & colours garnished with Indian cuisine. Around 200 guests including officials of Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs joined in the celebrations
