The heads of three CSIR incubators were part of the delegation that also visited some businesses, including DNV GL, where they spoke with Lars Almklov, Director of Group Government and Public Affairs; Kåre Helle, Director of Ventures at DNV Ventures; and Amit Mital, Country Chair, India, about the role of industries in startup collaboration. Additionally, they met Thomas Moe Børseth and Duncan Akporiaye at SINTEF to discuss the role of the Norwegian research institute in the local startup scene.
The delegation met with Rohit Singh, Head of Deep Tech for New Business & Investments, Uma Ranganathan, Head of Strategy & Early Phase for New Business & Investments, Desikan Sundarajan, Equinor’s Country Manager in India, and Morten Halleraker, SVP, New Business & Investments, via video to talk about energy innovation. To learn more about the incubation system in institutions without their own TTO, they also spoke with Freyja Jørgensen, Head of incubation and Acting CEO of Gründergarasjen.
