The five-day Ambiente 2025 exhibition, which commenced at Messe Frankfurt, has drawn considerable attention, with around 500 Indian exhibitors participating. Representing the Indian Pavilion, 94 companies are proudly showcasing a wide range of Indian products . organizations featured in this pavilion include the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), the Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC), and the National Jute Board (NJB).
Consul General Shri B. S. Mubarak, accompanied by the Commerce team from the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt, visited the Indian Pavilion. During the visit, they met with Shri Dileep Baid, Chairman of EPCH, Mr. Thomas Kastl, Director of Ambiente, and Shri Nipun Pande, Joint Development Commissioner for Handlooms, to discuss strategies for enhancing business collaborations and strengthening bilateral ties.
In addition, the Consul General and Shri Baid interacted with other Indian exhibitors, commending their efforts in bringing India’s finest products to the global market.
Notably, Indian exhibitors form the second-largest contingent among international participants, highlighting India’s expanding presence in the global marketplace.
Ambiente is an annual international consumer goods fair held in Frankfurt, where exhibitors from around the world showcase products in categories such as tableware, kitchen and household goods, gifts, home furnishings, and decorations.
