The Embassy of India in Sweden, in collaboration with the Government of Jharkhand, organized an investor engagement event in Gothenburg. The program featured interactions with industry representatives, one-to-one meetings (G2B, G2G), and a presentation on “Investment and Business Opportunities in Jharkhand” by a high-level delegation.
Representatives from leading Swedish companies and the Indian diaspora attended. The Cd’A delivered the keynote, highlighting the growing India-Sweden economic ties and investment prospects in Jharkhand.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren invited Swedish companies to invest in key sectors:
- Mineral Exploration
- Food Processing
- Sustainable Energy
- Electric Vehicles and Clean Mobility
Senior officials presented Jharkhand’s investor-friendly policies, industrial infrastructure, and sustainable growth initiatives, emphasizing regulatory transparency and innovation.
The event showcased synergies between Sweden’s expertise in sustainable technologies and Jharkhand’s green industrialization goals, strengthening G2B and G2G ties and promoting Indo-Swedish collaboration.
