Hon’ble CIM Piyush Goyal, on his first official visit to Liechtenstein, called on HSH Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein.
The meeting marked an important step in opening a forward-looking dialogue to further strengthen bilateral relations. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in trade and investment, while also exploring new avenues across other key areas of mutual interest.
The interaction reaffirmed the shared commitment of both countries to deepen engagement and expand collaboration, building on the foundation of cordial and longstanding ties
Made a courtesy call on H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein.
My visit, which is first by an Indian Cabinet Minister to this country, reflects how the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) is bringing our two economies closer.
We exchanged views on how Liechtenstein’s advanced industrial capabilities can complement our Make in India priorities. This collaboration can create high-value opportunities for Liechtenstein companies investing in India. It will also generate opportunities for our skilled workforce through cooperation in sustainable finance, green investments, energy transition, and climate action.
I also handed over a letter from PM Narendra Modi ji inviting H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois to visit India to attend the India-AI Impact Summit being held in New Delhi in February 2026.
