On the second day of their visit, the SICCI (Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry) delegation was hosted by the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt, which facilitated a series of productive meetings focused on startups and innovation.
The delegation first met with Mr. Mustafa Tahir from Kompass – Frankfurt, a leading German startup incubator. This was followed by discussions with representatives from the state of Saarland, including Ms. Christine Regitz, President of the German Informatics Society and Ambassador of Saarland, and Ms. Priti Prabhoo, Co-Founder & Partner at Primaa Enterprise.
The delegation also engaged with Mr. Christian Garbe, CEO of the Frankfurt Innovation Zentrum (FIZ), alongside Mr. Sarang Limaye, and later met Mr. Rainer Waldschmidt, CEO of Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH.
They concluded the day with a visit to the Innovation Hub RheinMain, where they had a fruitful interaction with Mr. Stephan Wittekind, CEO of the hub.
This 20-member delegation, an initiative of the MSME Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu, is dedicated to enhancing the startup ecosystem in the state by fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
