QUIZ CONTEST DAY 2 PASHMINA / CASHMERE Pashmina is a fine cashmere wool, from Kashmir. The word comes from the Persian word “Pashmineh” which means “made from Pashm”. Pashm means wool in Persian. The wool comes from a breed of mountain goats found in the Himalayas, which has a soft inner coat which is called Pashmina. Amidst the cold temperatures these goats develop a unique soft pashm (inner coat) which is 6 times finer than that of human hair and is warmer than sheep´s wool.
