SAMVAY Meeting – Bridging Experience and Aspiration – in Prague
The Embassy of India in Prague hosted the SAMVAY MentorConnect and the 1st SAMVAY Circle Meet 2025, marking an important step in its mentorship drive for the Indian community in the Czech Republic.
The evening began with the MentorConnect session, where mentors shared ideas for Cohort 2 and discussed ways to make the mentorship network stronger.
Next came the SAMVAY Circle Meet, launched by Ambassador Raveesh Kumar, who spoke about his vision for SAMVAY — a platform to guide Indian students and young professionals in the Czech Republic through mentorship.
The 1st cohort, ending on 31 December 2025, includes 41 mentees and 12 mentors — V. Subramaniam (Coordinator), Shailesh Patil, Madhu Kulkarni, Shobha Patil, Kumar A, Partha Sarathi Goswami, Saurabh Awati, Amit Upreti, Bhavya Subbakrishnan, Paromita Roy, Pratibha Khatreja, and Mukesh Kuzhikkalathekkethil Murali.
Mentors and mentees shared their experiences, followed by a talk by Guest Speaker Bhavin Pandya, General Manager Eastern Europe and MD, Atlas Copco Group, on “The Power of Mentoring.”
The event ended with a networking session, celebrating the spirit of teamwork and the goal of building a stronger Indian community in Prague.
