The Embassy of India in Berlin organized the 8th Make in India Mittelstand Exchange Platform on February 6, 2025, to showcase the extensive investment opportunities in India for German companies. Ambassador Ajit Gupte emphasized India’s robust economic growth and favorable investment climate.
Dr. Andreas Nicolin, Deputy Director General of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and Dr. Nicole Renvert, Managing Director of International Markets at the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), encouraged Mittelstand companies to invest and expand their operations in India.
Expert panels discussed India’s increasing role in global supply chains and highlighted the success stories of German Mittelstand companies in the Indian market. Participants also explored collaboration in green technologies and digital transformation, reinforcing the long-term potential of the India-Germany partnership.
