A statue of Maharshi Valmiki, gifted by the Government of India, was unveiled in Camporotondo by Ambassador Vani Rao alongside Mayor Massimiliano Micucci. The event saw the participation of Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Amararam Gurjar and members of the Indian diaspora, including the Balmiki community. Recognised as the revered author of the Sanskrit epic Ramayana, Maharshi Valmiki holds a prominent place in Indian culture. The initiative was supported by @iccr_hq under its “Connecting the World through Ramayana” program.
