Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati’s 200th Birth Anniversary Celebrated at Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre in Suriname

The 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati was celebrated this morning (10 Feb 2024) at Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC). The SVCC Director Acharya Somveer Arya conducted the programme with a Yagya for world peace and happiness. Ambassador Dr.Shankar Balachandran was the yajman (host) of the yagya with many others participating. Both Ambassador and Acharya addressed the gathering remembering the Swamiji and his immense contribution to the making of a modern India.
