Areas of variant of concern has been most important factor in the right covid pandemic so some of the precautions here

Traveling to Germany from “areas of variant of concern”:
Entering Germany:

Only German nationals and their family members and holders of German resident permit are can allow to enter into Germany.
Transiting Germany:

some Schengen countries are listed as  “area of variant of concern”

Any transit via Germany is only allowing to German nationals, their immediate family members and holders of German resident permit

From “areas of variant of concern”, transiting to German domestic flights and Schengen destinations is only allow to German nationals and their  family members , holders of German resident permit From “areas of variant of concern”transiting to Non-Schengen destinations is allowed to any national

The destination countries entry regulations must be adhered to

The following requirements for entry or transit Germany from “areas of variant of concern”:
1. Travelers must provide a negative Covid-19 test certificate (PCR, AntiGen, RT-LAMP or TMA test) based on a
sample collected (swab) no before 48 hours scheduling time of arrival in Germany.
2. Travelers can through  register online at 7 www.einreiseanmeldung.de
3. Travelers entering Germany are required to enter a 14-day quarantine.
