Kerala Samajam Frankfurt (KSF) celebrated its 55th Onam – “Onaaravam 2025” on 13 September 2025 at Saalbau Bornheim with grandeur and cultural spirit.
Shri Sathyanarayanan Parakkat, Consul at the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt, graced the occasion and conveyed a special message from Consul General Ms. Shuchita Kishore. The message highlighted the true essence of Onam and lauded the Kerala community for their enthusiasm in preserving and promoting Indian culture and art forms in Germany. He also praised KSF for its unity and professionalism over more than five decades.
KSF President Mr. Dipin Paul warmly welcomed the gathering, while Secretary Mr. Harish Pillai coordinated the cultural performances and delivered the vote of thanks.
The celebrations featured over 110 performers presenting a variety of cultural programmes, witnessed by an audience of more than 700 guests. Highlights included a skit by the students of the KSF Malayalam School depicting the legend of Onam, and the sumptuous traditional Onasadhya served on banana leaves, adding to the festive spirit.
