Deputy Chief of Mission Mrs. Eenam Gambhir attended the press conference of the upcoming edition of Escale a Sète, a major international maritime festival scheduled from 31 March to 6 April 2026 in Sète.
On this occasion, she announced a historic milestone—the first-ever participation of an Indian Navy ship, Sudarshini, at the festival.
The event will bring together ships from around 15 countries, offering a vibrant celebration of maritime heritage, seafaring traditions, and global navigation, while highlighting India’s growing engagement in international maritime and cultural exchanges.
