🇮🇳🇬🇧 Honouring the memory of the victims of 26/11.
Today, India in UK (High Commission of India, London) marked the 26/11 anniversary with an exhibition titled ‘The Human Cost of Terrorism’ at The National Liberal Club, bringing together guests in reflection and solidarity.
In his remarks, High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami highlighted that the real cost of terrorism is human — lives interrupted, families changed, futures stolen. He called for reflection, compassion, and a renewed global resolve to stand united against all forms of terrorism and support survivors.
Guest of Honour, Rt Hon Tom Tugendhat MP, stressed that #IndiaUK must stand together as strategic partners against terrorism, noting how the UK learned from India’s experience of 26/11 — including during preparations for the London Olympics — underscoring the importance of sharing, learning, and collective security.
The exhibition opened with a walkthrough, with attendees engaging with powerful visuals, testimonies and stories that captured the deep human impact of terrorism — honouring resilience and remembering lives forever altered.
🕯️ 26/11 — We remember. We stand united.
