IDY2022 in Erfurt
India in Germany (Embassy of India, Berlin) celebrated Yoga Day at the iconic Domplatz in Erfurt. Amb Harish Parvathaneni welcomed all participants and highlighted Yoga’s contribution towards physical and mental wellbeing. Dr. Winfried Speitkamp, State Secretary, Thรผringer Ministerium fรผr Bildung, Jugend und Sport and Mr. Matthias Bรคrwolff, Deputy Mayor of Erfurt also graced the occasion.
The celebrations saw incredible participation from students, yoga schools and the public of Thuringia and Erfurt, underlining the popularity of Yoga in Germany. The event was also a part of the Guardian Ring For Yoga program by DD India.
