Ambassador Ajit Gupte met Federal Minister for Transport, Mr. Patrick Schnieder (@pschnieder) at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (@BMV) on 4 November 2025.
During the meeting, Ambassador Gupte briefed the Minister on India’s remarkable growth story in the sectors of aviation, railways, roads, and infrastructure development, emphasizing the expanding opportunities for German investment and technological collaboration in India’s fast-evolving transport ecosystem.
Both sides held fruitful discussions on strengthening bilateral engagement in existing areas of cooperation while exploring new frontiers in sustainable mobility, including electric vehicles (EVs), battery innovation, and green hydrogen technologies.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of India and Germany to building resilient, future-ready, and climate-friendly transport systems, aligned with global goals for sustainability and green growth.
