The High Commission of India proudly organized the first-ever Rajasthan Focus Day on 30 March 2025 to commemorate the Foundation Day of Rajasthan and spotlight the vibrant tourism potential of this magnificent “Land of Kings” — known for its majestic forts, colorful festivals, and unmatched spirit of resilience and hospitality.
The celebration featured captivating cultural performances, traditional Rajasthani attire, and authentic cuisine, offering guests an immersive experience of the state’s rich heritage.
We were delighted to welcome a large number of Maltese friends and members of the Indian diaspora who joined us in the festivities.
The event was further graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including:

- Marsaskala Mayor Mario Calleja
- Miss Universe Malta Beatrice Njoya
- Miss World Malta Martine Cutajar
- Josef Bugeja, Secretary General, and Kevin Camilleri, Assistant General Secretary of the General Workers’ Union

Their participation added great warmth and significance to the occasion.
