A wonder to see, a treasure to keep!
Bihar’s Gogabeel Lake has officially joined the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance, a proud addition that celebrates India’s continued commitment to conserving its rich ecological heritage.
With this recognition by UNESCO’s Ramsar Convention, India’s tally of Ramsar sites rises to 94, placing the country 1st in Asia and 3rd globally — a remarkable testament to its efforts in wetland preservation and sustainable biodiversity management.
