The Gandhi Centre, in collaboration with Stichting Sanskriti Aur Sanskar and Eekta Foundation, proudly celebrated Hindi Diwas 2025 at the prestigious Kunstmuseum Aula in The Hague, graced by the presence of the Ambassador of India to the Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Kumar Tuhin.
The event brought together the Indian diaspora and Dutch friends of India in a shared tribute to the beauty, legacy, and cultural depth of the Hindi language. The program featured touching poetry and recitations by beginner Hindi learners and children, a mesmerizing “Dance Poetry in Motion” performance blending classical dance with verse, soulful songs, a short play, and an engaging quiz on Hindi idioms and poetry.
Eminent Hindi scholars added richness with their recitations, while Ambassador H.E. Mr. Kumar Tuhin inspired the audience with his insightful words and a moving Hindi poetry rendition, making the evening truly memorable and uplifting.
