The World Malayalee Council (WMC) Frankfurt Province celebrated Grand Onam 2025 on 6 September 2025 at Saalbau Nieder-Erlenbach, Frankfurt.
The event began with a warm welcome by Prof. Dr. Benesh Joseph, President, followed by the Chairman’s address by Mr. George Choorapoyikayil. Mr. Manoj Cheriyan, Secretary, skillfully coordinated the day’s programmes.
The celebration was formally inaugurated by Mr. Sathyanarayan Parakkat, Consul at the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, together with the Executive Members of WMC.
The festivities featured vibrant cultural performances and the traditional Onam Sadhya, lovingly prepared and served to all guests. The celebration drew over 400 participants from Frankfurt and surrounding regions, who came together to rejoice in the spirit of Onam, marked by unity, culture, and community bonding.
