The word dance arrived in vashvi’s life at a very early age. Born & brought up in Vadodara, Gujarat, she was famous from school days for her dance performances.
This encouraged her Parents to build a classical dance form in her. She started learning Bharatnatyam from her Guru (Smt. Rema Shrikant) at the age of 6 years & trained with her for 13 years.
Going ahead, she also decided to pursue her education in this field.
Her qualifications are:
* Bachelor of Commerce
* Bachelor in Performing Arts (Bharatnatyam)
* Masters in Performing Arts (Bharatnatyam)
* Yoga Teacher training course (YTTC)
Her top achievements:
* Received scholarship from Ministry of Culture New Delhi to study Bharatnatyam from her Guru for 2 years.
* Received “Kal ke Kalakar” award from Sangeet Natak Academy
Famous Bharatnatyam performances in India:
Sangeet Natak Acedemy, Modhera festival, Vibrant Gujarat & Asian games with Hema Maliniji’s Group
In India, she was a dance & yoga teacher in a C.B.S.E school & was a lecturer in Bharatnatyam.
With her family she moved to Paris in 2011 & began a new dance career in Europe.
Her main highlights in Paris:
* Bollywood dance classes & workshops
* Demonstration of Yoga Dance style on France 5 (national tv channel)
Now destiny brings her to Munich, Germany. She again began her journey as a dance teacher & performer at Natyadhara dance Academy & TSV.
Natyadhara, is a prominent Indian dance school in Munich run by Chandra Devi. Vashvi feels that this is a perfect place for dance lovers.
In the last 2 years she had the opportunity to perform in many famous events in & around Munich.
She enjoys taking her classes & is very grateful to all her students & Indian families who gave her respect and support.
Going ahead, she aspires to conduct Dance Productions and present different emotions of Indian dance.
She has been able to achieve all this with full support of her Family, and Blessing of God & Guru.
