The Embassy of India turned out in full force to proudly celebrate India’s 71st Independence Day with a flag hoisting and singing the National Anthem. President of India’s inspiring speech was read out to the dedicated and hard working staff, who individually pledged to implement Prime Minister of India’s vision for an even better India for all by 2022. We are all behind PM’s vision as India has a fresh chance to finally reach her true potential under a dedicated and honest leadership, which inspires all of us to do our best for our country.

This was a chance to internally review the work done to implement Prime Minister’s flagship programs over the last 2 years in the Embassy and chart out fresh paths for the future. We are full of enthusiasm as everyone pledged to carry on the momentum forward and maintain cleanliness, deliver excellent service, promote India, expand and deepen Indo-Swiss ties in every sphere, and not leave any stone unturned to achieve these goals.
