ESB Networks and NTPC Limited Forge Partnership for Green Energy Innovation and Collaboration

Electricity Supply Board (ESB Networks), Ireland’s leading utility, and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC Limited), India’s largest power generator, have signed a non-binding MOU to collaborate for R&D in green fuels/chemicals, knowledge sharing, and will consider the possibility of pursuing pilot projects in the clean energy sector together. The MOU is aimed at jointly evaluating and finding new opportunities to test solutions together and identify new scalable technology solutions with significant emissions reductions potential. This MOU marks further advancements towards the ongoing efforts by ESB innovation team to identify and engage relevant collaborative partnership opportunities in India.
